Black History Month is a very important period all over the world for black people to celebrate and reflect on their history. This is a time to educate their children and people of other races about their culture and the outstanding contributions black people have made to the development of the world.
For Black History Month, while many people will be reading poetry, watching biographies of famous scientists, athletes, civil rights leaders and many other famous blacks, Jamaicans will be hosting African village festivals.
