Here’s Your Day by Day Itinerary…
Day 1
Airport Transfer and Welcome dinner: We will personally welcome you to Jamaica. You will be transferred from the Norman Manley Airport to Smokey Manor. Awaiting you will be the most delicious meal of your choice. Settle in, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Smokeyvale community.
Day 2
Travel to Charles Town to join in the celebrations of Emancipation Day. Here at this Maroon Village, you will have the chance to learn a little history and experience the culture up close. August 1st is the start of your 7 days of exploring the diversity of the Jamaican culture.
Day 3
Your morning is free so you could getaway to Hellshire Beach to swim, dive, or just ‘chill out’. Don’t forget to sample fish, festival and bammy. Now it’s time to catch the dance Festival celebrations. Dance with Jamaicans and see all the dances that make up this culture. These include mentho,folk, reggae, dance hall and many more. Day 4
Here’s a chance to sleep late or if shopping is your passion, then getaway to the maze of craft markets and shops where you will find Jamaican treasures to take back. In the evening enjoy the many samplings from a food festival. Sample all the foods that make up our cultures. Take back recepies so you can learn to make these exotic dishes.
Day 5
If you like the Creative Arts, Day 5 is the day when you'll have a feast. Enjoy drama , speech, creative writing and much more.
Day 6
This is Jamaica’s Birthday… the day when we gained our independence from England and the climax to the week long celebrations. See "Jankanoo Dancers" and be reminded of the popular dances during the period of slavery. The rainbow of colours displayed combined with the sights and sounds will create memories for a lifetime.
